Implement search for user on user/list.gsp

Looking for users to update data is probably going to be a primary function. I'm thinking a simple search box that searches by user last name and email (so you either can use last name or email without selecting a search property type).

We might need to create an "advanced search" screen as well so you can create lists by chapter, city, state, or other properties.

I think email, last name, first name, and chapter will be the most common search criteria.

First contact with Twitter Bootstrap...pretty awesome stuff. Anyway, I'm implementing a search functionality on Users for the User list page. What I had in mind was when the search field is submitted that table gets updated with the search results via ajax. Or did we want something else?

Updating the div via AJAX sounds perfectly groovy to me ;-)

Good deal. May be a little bit yet. I was going to just use the searchable plugin to handle all searching needs but I'm going to learn and implement the solution with solr since searchable has scaling issues and it would need to happen down the road anyway.
