Great question. Here's the short path to a working garden. 1. Open the app. Go to tracker.tropicalrootsmaui.com. No account, nothing to install. Your data lives in your own browser. 2. Try the demo first (optional). Add 3. Add an environment. Start on the Environs tab and add your tent, room, or outdoor space. Most other things attach to an environment, so this comes first. 4. Add a mother plant. On the Plants tab, tap + Add Mother. Pick a strain from the catalog or type your own, then set the growth stage and health status. 5. Set up a few tasks. Watering, feeding, pruning. The app reminds you when they're due and flags anything overdue. 6. Export a backup. Once you have a few entries, grab a backup from the gear menu. It's a plain JSON file you keep. Because your data is local to your browser, this is your safety net if you ever clear browser data or move to a new device. You can re-import it anytime, and there's optional Cloud Sync if you want cross-device backup. Install it as an app. On phone or desktop, use your browser's Install or Add to Home Screen option. After that it runs fully offline. The help guide goes deep on every feature when you're ready for more. |

I just came across Plant Manager and I'm not sure where to begin. What's the recommended first-run flow to get a garden set up, and how do I make sure I don't lose my data along the way?
