Thank you for contributing to MailKite Server. This agreement clarifies the terms under which you contribute so the project can be maintained and licensed sustainably. You keep full rights to use your own contributions for any other purpose.
By commenting "I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA" on a pull request, you accept and agree to the following for your present and future contributions submitted to this repository:
- Definitions. "Contribution" means any original work of authorship you intentionally submit for inclusion in this repository. "We"/"us" means the MailKite project maintainers.
- Copyright license. You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and derivative works — including the right to license the Contributions under other license terms (for example, dual-licensing alongside the AGPL).
- Patent license. You grant us and recipients of the software a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license covering claims necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or combined with the work it was submitted to.
- You are entitled to submit. The Contribution is your original creation, you have the right to grant these licenses, and (if applicable) your employer has waived any rights or authorized the submission.
- No warranty. Contributions are provided "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind.
This agreement does not change your rights to use your own Contributions for any other purpose.
