Send destination to car not working

Whenever i tried to use send destination to car it would either do nothing or just crash the map app in the car. Is there a trick to using it or is it just bugged?

It doesn't seem to work on the T03. In fact, the command is available as an ability also fot T03 vehicles, but the official app doesn't display it, and when it's sent from LeapConnect, it doesn't work on mine either.

Yeah i have T03. Would it be maybe possible to send only the longitude and latitude without the street name? Maybe it's because of special characters in the streetname. I noticed that sending Polish streetnames causes a crash while sending british streetnames does nothing.

I've made the send-destination address optional, so you can now send just latitude/longitude without a street name. When the address is omitted, the backend sends a plain-ASCII "<lat>, <lon>" coordinate label instead — this avoids the special characters that seemed to crash the navigator on Polish addresses.

That said, I tested coordinates-only on my own T03 and it doesn't seem to make any difference — the command still doesn't take effect. This lines up with the suspicion that the T03 firmware doesn't actually support this command, even though it's exposed as an ability (the official app doesn't show it either).

Could you give it a try on your end and let me know if you see anything different? Specifically:

• Does sending coordinates-only (no address) behave differently from sending a full address?
• Does it still crash, do nothing, or actually set the destination?

If it behaves the same as mine, I think the right move is to hide/disable this command for T03 vehicles. Your results will help confirm that.

I just tested sending a location with my T03 as well (location: Germany).

Some strange things happened...
During my first attempts using an address and coordinates, the T03’s navigation app crashed (it just closed).
After trying various combinations, it stayed open when I sent only coordinates, but nothing happened.
Then I wanted to try different letters (umlauts, etc.) and the difference between , and . in the coordinates, but then nothing happened at all in any of those cases. Even in the cases where the app had crashed before, it stayed open afterward.
Simply turning the ignition on and off made no difference. I haven’t tried a hard restart via the menu.

I agree with you—the feature should be disabled for the T03 for now.

I also tried sending a destination while navigating, but nothing happens. I believe this is a feature not yet implemented on our T03s.

Could someone with a B10/C10 test it and provide feedback, please?
