A lot of dead or obsolete code has accumulated in the package with time and there are some rather unintuitive relics from when things were done with environments instead of lists. * Weed out all obsolete code (maybe even approach it from the other end and add what is really necessary). * Make the position of the connection argument in functions consistent * Remove the need to name series to be stored (keep the param but make it optional) * Find a solution for SQL queries (currently they are strewn around in multiple files. Some functions define their own, some are hardcoded constants, others generated by parametrized functions) * Add as you please
