Advice on replacing images.

Hi Community,

I would appreciate your guidance to run a vanilla Screwfast website. And either replace all images cleanly or better disable and hide these until replacements have been found.

Can this be done using configuration of site settings.

What is the best approach to proceed with this for someone like me who is not a web developer.

Hi @lefig
The simplest way would be to temporarily comment out the image tags in the code. For example, if you see something like:

<Image src={heroImage} ... />

You can wrap it with comment markers like this:

{/* <Image src={heroImage} ... /> */}

That way the images won't render, but you can easily bring them back later once you have replacements.

This is usually easier than trying to change site-wide configuration settings.
