How to synchronize the extension ID between Chrome and Edge?

We want to use the same Chrome extension id (manifest key) to publish to Edge extension store, so the id of the extension stays the same as in Google Chrome.

In the official doc guide it's not mentioned either.

So when I upload the extension I see the error:
"The manifest shouldn't contain the key field"

Is it possible to use the same extension id for both Chrome and Edge?
If not, please confirm and add it as a feature!
