Any plans for an update?

Hello. Do you have any plans for update that awesome package for working with AdonisJS v.5? It would be great if you update this package or make another for newer version. Currently there is no similar package.

I should see breaking changes at Adonis v5.

Could fix them and release new major version of the package.

@mikield It would be awesome. This is the only thing that is missing in this framework.

@dawidow please notify me when Adonis v5 will be in RC or stable. Before that moment I thing I should not make changes.

@mikield Founders of AdonisJS on their twitter said that the framework will be finished in December. Ok I will. I hope you'll update this because it is really important package. I don't know why they don't update their @adonisjs/guard package. Package that gaves a posibility to give the privilages in my opinion should be on the first place in the to-do.

@dawidow I have noticed adonis-guard package.

Checking the docs, I realized that my package is not the best solution for using a Policy for your models.

Better option is to use this package instead of my.

I will archive my package and do a short info at Readme.

Also I wanna say that I am interested to help AdonisJS community and will force an update for adonis-guard to work in AdonisJS v5.
Or I will contribute and fix the package for myself.

Anyway, this functionality will be available in AdonisJS v5 :)

It would be great because from what I see the creators of adonis do not focus on this functionality and have not even placed it in road map on trello.
