External deep linking using iOS browserstack devices

Is there a working solution for external deep linking testing using browserstack iOS devices? The deep links opens in the browser itself, not launching the app.

the custom links works in iOS, the issue is specific to external links I.e the links starts with https
This behavior works in Android.

You may need to speak to BrowserStack.
They use a Maestro fork.

My best guess is that you don't have the appropriate App Site Association, etc.
