I my experience the enable switch is not needed as evcc controls charging trough the charging power settings, so below 6A no charging = off. |

That's interesting, so you would send <6A and it switches off? I tried this yesterday with regular curl calls, but I was not lucky to get it working. |

Hi all
I wanted to open a seperate discussion on this topic.
First of all, EVCC made the home assistant charger integration easier. See https://docs.evcc.io/en/chargers/home-assistant-charger/
I updated our docs.
The big change in release 2026.5.1 are the api-endpoints which are rerouted. https://smappee.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEVAPI/pages/2803367937/Set+the+charging+mode+of+one+of+the+connectors+of+a+charging+station Those end-points look more stable.
I am still stuck with the enable / enabled switch. For now, these call the endpoints, but the switch status is not updated with the 'real' status. Not sure whether it is necessary.
This discussion topic should gather everyones ideas/improvements/usage/reports of the EVCC combination with Smappee EV. And I hope to land (maybe in a next release) a stable integration combined with EVCC.
Thanks for your proactiveness. Looking forward to the results.
