[Defect] Pop up sign in does not work on latest FF (Ubuntu/Linux possible other OS)

Describe the bug

When signing in on FF using wallet selector, trying web wallets like mynearwallet / meteorwallet, the pop up does not close and redirect the original window. Instead it redirects inside the popup itself and the page redirected to is not signed in / doesn't seem to receive any of the information from the web wallet sign in.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install latest FF
2. Sign in to web wallet e.g. app.mynearwallet.com
3. Attempt to sign in to dapp e.g. app.rhea.finance

Error description

Expected behavior

The pop up closes and you are signed in.

I cannot reproduce it on latest Firefox (147.0.3) on MacOS. I wonder if there are some security settings involved. Have you tired it in a fresh Firefox profile? (I am not saying that the bug should not be fixed, I am saying that it seems that more details needed given the same issue for you is reproducible on both NEAR Connect and Wallet Selector)
