Bug: Failed to apply entitlements to game (macOS)

After allowing application management and restarting the launcher, when pressing "Engage" and then "Authorize and Continue", I get a message: "Failed to apply entitlements to game".

macOS: 15.7.1
stfc-mod: 1.0.0
STFC: 1.000.46591

I was just taking a look at the code... Doesn't the path to executable need to include the exe itself?
yet I think users don't have the ability to select the actual exe, just to the directory. file selection was false, I think.

We're on macOS. There is no exe File.
When using the launchers "engage" Button your are asked for the Star Trek Fleet Comman App but also already shown the correct one.
There is no problem in locating it, but in the manipulation it does.
It worked well before the Game Update released this week.

It is an issue. macOS 26.2 and beta 3 and 4 of macOS 26.3
After Stfc was updated the mod stopped working with above error message.
Removing the mod (including files from library) and reinstalling has no effect on the error still showing up.

Allowed privacy settings one by one in macOS for Community mod (accessibility, full folder permissions, etc) But still no luck. STFC game is working fine without

Please try

• Unistall Client from the official launcher
• Install Client

I can't put my finger on it why but this helped every time I saw this issue popping up…
I'll investigate more once it happens to me again!

I admit uninstalling the whole STFC client (game) and re-downloading then re-installing and after first start of the client then re download the mod and reinstalling the mod will solve the problem.

but is this the way to go ?

That may be a workaround, but it's not a solution. The effort involved in reinstalling everything every time is completely disproportionate.

I was able to get everything to build, so when it breaks because of the next update, I'll see what I can do. I haven't done any macOS-specific programming, but I have a few decades of experience making stuff work.

So, today I took the time to uninstall the mod and the game.
Then I reinstalled everything.
First I started the game -> works
Then I started the mod -> doesn't work

There's no workaround for this bug for me...
