The question about using QuadWild to generate quadrilaterals related to RoSy fields #24

Description

@JiqiangHuang

I am interested in utilizing the quadrilateralization feature that incorporates ".rosy" files from your QuadWild work. However, I have not been able to find relevant examples in your documentation.

Would you be able to provide me with a method for generating these files or a use case example? I have attempted to use my own generated .rosy files for quadrilateralization, but I've noticed that the results don't closely align with the input CrossField. I'm curious about the reasons for this discrepancy.

Specifically, I would appreciate your insights on the following:

A step-by-step guide or example for generating appropriate .rosy files
Best practices for using these files with QuadWild
Potential reasons why my quadrilateralization results might not be closely related to the input CrossField
Any tips or common pitfalls to avoid when working with RoSy fields and QuadWild
Your expertise would be invaluable in helping me understand and resolve these issues. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

I have attached the following files for your reference:
A subset of the .rosy files I generated
Visualization of the Cross Field
The resulting quadrilateral mesh model files
These attachments should provide you with a clearer picture of my current progress and the specific issues I'm encountering. I hope this additional context will help in diagnosing any potential problems in my approach or implementation.
