@riwich, did you find an answer? I'm using a local repository as my first stage of backup, and rsync to copy the local repository to another drive on a monthly basis. I'd like to introduce a sync of the local repository to a remote site, and I'm wondering if Mirror Repositories is a good way to do it. |

The Mirror Repositories function in a backup job seems very useful to me. I tested it, but found that the snapshot is actually copied to a second repository, but only the snapshot, not a complete backup.
This seems a bit strange to me, because in this configuration, the mirror repository must remain 100% synchronised with the source from the very first backup onwards. If the mirror fails once, the entire mirror repository is no longer consistent.
Perhaps I have completely misunderstood the function?
Maybe, but from my point of view, this implementation is not useful, at least for me. For me, a mirror repository would always have to be completely synchronised with the source and also be 100% usable for a restore.
I would appreciate your feedback on how you see this, thank you!
