I know this project is in high flux right now and undergoes a lot of changes. This makes it hard for people not currently involved in the project to see what's going on and where this is headed.
Therefore I would love to have a more in-depth explanation of this project in either the README or somewhere else that serves as a starting point for people wanting to help out here.
This should of course happen at some point when there is some stability to the project, so the explanation doesn't have to be updated with every pull request.
