What would you like to see added in fMRIPost-Phase?
Once unwrapping (#1) is in place, several QC outputs are nearly free and have no good magnitude-only equivalent. Adding them to the nipreps HTML report would make phase-derived derivatives much easier to triage, especially for users unfamiliar with phase data.
Phase tSNR map (alongside magnitude tSNR)
Unwrapping success/failure mask (low-confidence voxels flagged by ROMEO/MEDIC)
Voxel-wise B₀ drift over the run (mean phase trend after unwrapping)
Per-volume phase outlier counts
Fringe-line / wrap-density maps
The Rodriguez phase quality map already planned as a confound in #1 could double as a QC visualization here.
Rodriguez, I., Pérez-Rial, S., González-Jimenez, J., Pérez-Sánchez, J.M., Herranz, F., Beckmann, N., Ruiz-Cabello, J. (2008). Magnetic resonance methods and applications in pharmaceutical research. J Pharm Sci 97:3637–3665. (phase quality, as referenced in Processing steps #1)
Separate from #1 since QC visualizations and nuisance regressors serve different purposes.
Do you have any interest in helping implement the feature?
