Description

marinebon.org/calcofi-analysis (marinebon/calcofi-analysis); calcofi.R:

  1. Cross check the data presented in interactive infographics with the graphs provided by Andrew Thompson in the condition report
  2. Can we compress the height of the interactive graphs so that two graphs can be seen in the window without much scrolling?
  3. Forage assemblage - change to a biodiversity icon (if we can come up with one we like) or link to the school of small plankton; diversity and richness static graphs need to be transitioned to interactive
  4. Forage fish > Hake - static graph needs to be transitioned to interactive
    • Based on https://marinebon.org/calcofi-analysis, Figure App.F.12.19 key forage groups in CINMS/SoCal mentions Hake however "don’t seem to have any data?" [Hakes (Merlucciidae); Dwarf hake (Merluccius); Pacific hake or whiting (Merluccius productus_)] based on extraction from ERDDAP; Next Steps? Ask Erin Satterthwaite / Lynn DeWitt / Andrew Thompson; perhaps upon next round of CalCOFI data wrangling.
  5. Forage invertebrates - should link to squid silhouette
  6. Squid static graphs need to be transitioned to interactive
  7. Pinnipeds need to be transitioned to interactive
  8. Create interactive graphs for pup count (https://oceanview.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/cciea_MM_pup_count.html?time,live_pup_count) and pup growth (https://oceanview.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/cciea_MM_pup_count.html?time,mean_growth_rate)
