Thanks a lot 🙏 You might also want to take a look at another project I recently rebuilt for Microsoft Family Safety I haven’t yet figured out how to remotely lock or unlock devices, but tracking daily screen time per device works nicely. My son also uses a Nintendo Switch, which now has an official integration. Combining these three gives me a much clearer picture of his daily screen time (and even lets me get a phone notification when he hits his limit 😅). Really happy to see other parents finding this useful ❤️ |

Thank you so much for this integration @noiwid . It was the final step I was missing. This allows me to combine phone, PS5, and Nintendo usage into one time and block everything once the total time is exceeded. No more checking devices individually. |

No discussion needed other than to share appreciation for @noiwid reviving this project. As parents, many of us are desperately grappling with the desire to keep our kids connected while still maintaining a healthy separation from the tech that surrounds us in everyday life. It is unfortunate that the tech companies don't provide better tools, but 3rd party open source projects like this close an important gap!
I've verified this integration's functionality and although the setup flow is unusual (instructions here), this gives me all the sensors and controls I want and successfully enables family link controls within Home Assistant for use in dashboards and automations.
Thanks for helping us regain a little sanity!
