Mathematical and Linguistic Representation of "Formula" (Generated Numbers)

We have cases like "one ten" meaning "nine". To write this as a formula, we need to write "10-1", but this will swap the order of components. So we need to find a way to annotate both the underlying mathematical formula (10-1) and the order of components in the word form.

Looking at my daughters homework, -1+10 would seem to be a perfectly valid formula :)

Do we care about the connectors? If we want to make it globally comparable, we might want to distinguish 18 as:
10 and 8
10 by 8
8 plus 10
...
Maybe not at this stage, but this could be useful for future comparative studies.

Yes, I mean we will design one symbol or a phrase, like to or by, which will mean the same as minus or -, but reverse the order of elements. so 2 to 10 is like 10 minus 2.
