This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to every code, documentation, design, test, or other work submitted to Off Grid AI (a "Contribution"). "You" means the individual or legal entity submitting the Contribution. "Off Grid AI" means Wednesday Solutions, Inc., doing business as Off Grid AI.
By submitting a Contribution, including by opening or updating a pull request, You accept this Agreement. If You contribute on behalf of an employer or another organization, You represent that You have authority to bind that organization. Do not submit the Contribution if You do not have that authority.
You grant Off Grid AI and recipients of software distributed by Off Grid AI a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contribution and derivative works of it.
This grant allows Off Grid AI to distribute Your Contribution under the Off Grid AI Source-Available License, commercial licenses, and other licenses it may adopt. You retain ownership of Your Contribution.
You grant Off Grid AI and recipients of software distributed by Off Grid AI a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer Your Contribution, limited to patent claims that You can license and that are necessarily infringed by Your Contribution alone or by its combination with the project to which You submitted it.
If You institute patent litigation alleging that a Contribution or the project infringes a patent, the patent licenses granted to You for that project terminate as of the filing date.
You represent that:
- You are legally entitled to grant this Agreement;
- each Contribution is Your original work, or You have identified its source and have sufficient rights to submit it under this Agreement; and
- the Contribution is not knowingly subject to obligations that conflict with this Agreement.
You are not expected to provide support for a Contribution unless You separately agree to do so. Unless required by law or agreed in writing, Contributions are provided without warranties or conditions of any kind.
This Agreement applies to a Contribution when You accept it. It does not automatically change the terms governing a contribution submitted before Your acceptance. Off Grid AI may ask existing contributors to confirm that this Agreement also covers their earlier contributions.
