Question - shouldl we create anchors at top level for every element in sub-schemas? is this something we should automate with scripts? e.g. if a subschema has an anchor, and some dependency type flag or other metadata to classify it as a container, exists, promote anchors to top level?
How would this affect profiling?

If we have canonical references at the top level, will mean profiles can be independent of the internal structure?

Ok, this has been fixed. The errors now are due to incorrect $refs in the schemas :/
