Discussed this issue with @chris-little in the CoverageJSON telecon today.

Looking at the crs.ttl file, there is only once occurrence of the Unix Time Datum. So it is possible that the cause is the rendering, rather than duplication in the data itself.

@avillar @ghobona If the rendering etc can be fixed so that only one datum and one CRS are resolved, this would be very helpful.
The references to parametrized UnixTime CRS and Datum is also confusing and not understood at all.

@avillar About the parametrized Unix Time: the concrete Unix Time definition seems to contain some form of template, and the parametrized Unix Time definition does not have any templates, and seems quite hard coded!

I think I figured out the why: the duplicates seem to happen because Prez returns the same result more than once if the match occurs in more than one property. For example, for "unix time datum":
