Issue with Importing Data from WordPress Plugin

Describe the bug
Data import from WordPress via the import plugin does not work as expected. After filling the form and initiating the import, the process doesn't complete or behave correctly.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to the "Plugin" section
Select the "Import Plugin"
Choose "WordPress Import"
Fill out the import form and start the import

Observe that the import does not proceed as expected
