🚀 Part 2: Starting a GitHub Organization with Your Personal Account

🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup

1. Create the Organization

   • Go to GitHub Organizations
   • Click “New organization”
   • Choose Free plan (unless you need private repos for collaborators)
   • Name it something like CampusConnectHub or CampusConnectOrg
   • Add your personal account as the owner

2. Create Repositories

   • Inside the org, create a repo: campus-connect-portal
   • Initialize with a README and .gitignore (Java template)
   • Set up branch protection rules (e.g., main requires PR review)

3. Structure Your Workflow

   • Use feature branches: feature/auth-module, feature/event-system
   • Use issues to track tasks and bugs
   • Use projects (Kanban board) for planning deliverables (Week 2, Week 3, etc.)

4. Invite Collaborators (Optional)

   • Go to Settings > People
   • Invite teammates or mentors with appropriate roles (Admin, Member)

5. Enable GitHub Pages (Optional)

   • For frontend preview or documentation site
   • Use docs/ folder or a separate gh-pages branch
