Automatic Dark and Light Mode switching depending on OS setting

Hi, I'm not sure if it's already possible in Automad 2 alpha, but I didn't read anything about it anywhere, so here's my idea/question:

There's a growing number of websites out there that switch from Light to Dark mode automatically depending on the user setting on OS level. For example GitHub: If you switch your iOS device to dark mode in control center or system settings and navigate to github.com in Safari, the website displays also in a dark theme. The same applies for light mode and a light theme for github.com.

Would it be possible to implement a similar behaviour in Automad? Would it be two seperate themes? Or one theme that activates different parts upon switching?

I'm curious what you think about that matter.

This is dependent on the theme and not directly related to the CMS itself. However, it is planned to support this out of the box in the next stable standard theme.
