V1 - Disable cache on a per-page basis

Is there a way in V1 for cache to be enabled and only have it disabled for a single page? I'm experiencing unsolvable problems with a custom send form that does not want to disable itself after sending the data. All works well, however, when caching in CMS is disabled.

Hi there! Currently there is no option to do that, even though I think that would be a great feature. I will take a look.

However, caching will be disabled as soon as there is any content in $_GET or $_POST. Maybe that could be used.

$_POST does not seem to make a difference, but $_GET actually does, so when after processing the form I return to the page with a header( 'Location: ' . [url]?t=time(), true, 200 );, the form on the page is correctly shadowed. However if I try the same URL without t param, the form is active again. I keep the form data in a $_SESSION. Is it somehow cached on a per-page basis? I'm stumped. The weird thing is that when I var_dump($_SESSION) right on the page, everything just works correctly and the form is properly shadowed after use, regardless whether params or anchors are used in the URL after data is sent...

I guess you're using plain PHP in your template. Then you could just clear the cache when your logic requires it:

\Automad\Core\Cache::clear();

This will re-render all pages when requested.

Yes, it's a custom form, so I need to use plain PHP for that. Thanks Marc. I'd rather not clear the cache of all pages, but this trick is worth to remember regardless. I guess I'll take a step back and try a different approach.
