Here is a small discussion to collect .mod files that test different physics of LCURVE. If you have any, feel free to append them to this thread.
(Maybe also include a short sentence or two what specific physics it tests)

Three mod files:

PTF1 J0823+0819, sdB + WD, P = 87.5 min (TESS, 786.5 nm)

• velocity_scale = 580 km/s, so the beaming term is strong and the odd/even harmonic split is a clean test of beam_factor against the Roche shape.
• Useful as a roche1 = 1, eclipse* = 1-but-inactive case: geometry and gravity darkening have to carry the fit on their own.

PG 0941+280, sdB + WD, P = 0.3148 d (TESS, 786.5 nm)

• Well known WD eclipser
• That makes it sensitive to nlat*, nlatfill/nlngfill and the Claret limb-darkening coefficients at the stellar edge, which is exactly where grid resolution shows up first.
• A good candidate for testing glens1 too, since the transiting object is a white dwarf.
