Modes
In the Settings Menu, you may select a Game Mode. There is a LeaderBoard for each Mode in DodgeBlock. Which makes it important to know which one you're on, and which ones you're good at. There are three Modes that are usually in the game.
In Normal Mode, Blocks fall at a frequency of 1 per row. This Mode is featured for its Power-Ups being the only Mode that has them.
In Classic Mode, Blocks fall the same as Normal Mode (1 per row), but there are no Power-Ups. You just have to rely on surviving as long as possible to get a higher Score.
When Power-Ups where added, the previous game became Classic Mode and Normal mode continued being updated with various Power-Ups.
Expert Mode, like Classic Mode, has no Power-Ups. In this Mode, Blocks fall at a rate of 3 per row, which may not seem like much, but can lead to a lot of tricky places.
Two Player Mode before 1.3.1, was a switch in the Settings Menu and could be applied to any of the Modes. Now it is a Mode. In it, a second player may join to play as "S". When one player dies, it ends the game. but it also shows who died. So both players want the other to survive so that they can get a higher score, but they want the other to die so that they can win. This mode does not have a LeaderBoard.
Raaad Mode is a secret Mode that is not accessible through the Game Mode selector in the Settings Menu. The tick speed of the game is increased to 10 milliseconds (from 60) and in the place of all Blocks are Bonus Points. There is no LeaderBoard for this mode. Raaad Mode is not mentioned in any of the official DodgeBlock documentation except in the Update Log at Version 1.1.4 where it states:
-added super secret easter egg (hehe)
Missing the usual capital "A" for -Added.
As seen with the Halloween Event, most times Events add a special mode that only lasts for the Event's duration.
