data loading doesn't work with Microsoft Edge?

@mschnorb reports that the newly launched site works fine on firefox, but doesn't load selectable regions with the Microsoft Edge browser. Perhaps it is missing a polyfill?

As I don't have easy access to a Microsoft system, I emailed some friends and asked them to go to the website and see if the basin dropdown was populated.

• Someone with Microsoft Edge for Business 122 reports that the basin dropdown does appear populated.
• Someone with Microsoft Edge 122 on Windows 10 Pro reports that the basin dropdown does appear populated.
