feature request: Remove the shift list from the Calendar view

Problem Description / Use Case

The Calendar is awasome, but it would be nice if you could hide the shifts, perhaps by putting a button within the view settings. That way, you could have just the clean calendar, without the preset, if a shareable link is created as read-only.

You can already do that in the upper right corner. You can also hide the statistics.

Thanks for your reply.
What I meant was that you could hide the "Stats," "Shifts," and "Presets" boxes, so you can hide them when, for example, you're the Calendar administrator and create a public link to make it read-only, so people can only see the shifts or notes within the Calendar.

This would be a feature that enables/disables the Calendar owner when it's created and shared with a public link, for example, as read-only.
Of course, if I give another user the ability to edit it, they can change the setting.

What's the benefits of disabling the statistics and preset headers for all users of a specific calendar instead of letting the user decide if he wants to hide these components ? There is no critical informations to expose because the user will see all shift/preset names + times anyways via the calendar grid.

It might be a better solution to let the user decide if he wants to hide the components to make the page look "cleaner".

Let me explain: I'm the Calendar administrator, I created it myself, and I manage other colleagues' shifts.
I schedule shifts and share it with everyone via a link (read-only), but I don't want them to see statistics and shifts, because they're my responsibility and all they need to see is the shift within the day on the calendar.
All other information is for my use only... to determine hours worked, shifts, overages, etc.
It would be helpful to add a "Hide statistics/shifts for shared calendar" button to the calendar view.

The logic for this is sound, but I would suggest the best implementation might be to create a role that gets this view.

My current use case for wanting it role-based is purely around having an admin (and super-admin), a team leader, and user.

The user only gets a view of what they have been assigned, while the team leader gets to move things around. I can see use cases where different organisation structures would want to change the 'levels' to match their org, so a proper RBAC (where you can create new roles and then assign permissions based on needs) might be the solution in the long term.

I agree with you.
In fact, that's exactly what I was saying.
The administrator, through settings, can toggle whether to show or hide all the shift details, graphs, etc.
That's essentially what I asked for, so I can manage what I want to see and what I don't want to see. Thanks!
