Auto login return not functioning. There are no problems logged.

I have also noticed that when users login they get a successful login message, but the page stays on the login screen. Users have to refresh the browser afterwards to actually login.

The login request succeeds and the session cookie is set, but the frontend does not perform the expected redirect after authentication. I've confirmed this on multiple browsers and devices.
