Sometimes it's nice to have the prediction and response ranges totally aligned...cases where it isn't usually are when the predictions are really poor, and it's useful to see what they might still be doing, even if it's impossible to tell at the correct stress. Develop some heuristic to handle this well, or set an option in the config file.
