This library seems to have the same interfaces as sciruby/rubyplot. Does this have plans to be merged?

So I want to develop visualization tools in Ruby with you.

This Library is finally going to be merged to https://github.com/sciruby/rubyplot, this is a current prototype to simulate the Scripting Layer Architecture.
We are developing it based on John Hunter's Matplotlib Architecture.
We would love to collaborate with you!
