Greetings, I just downloaded this program for school, because my teacher suggested a similar project and that is unmaintained since 2016/2017, so I have some questions.

1. What GUI-lib do you use?
2. Why do I need to restart the whole program just for a theme change?

So I don't want to pressure you, because I know how hard FOSS work can be, but those are just things I recognized.

Minder is written using GTK-3 for its UI. As for changing themes, you should not have to restart the application. You may be using an older version of the software if this is occurring.

I use 1.17 on Fedora KDE

When you say that the program needs to be restarted for a theme change, are you referring to the themes used within a mindmap (created from with Minder itself) or do you mean the system theme (i.e., light or dark mode)?

Minder isn't a KDE application (or a Qt application for that matter), so it's possible that things won't look right if the system theme changes within KDE.
