add bookmarks (aka "favourites")

It would be nice to be able to use the bookmark (aka "favourites") feature. For now, they should be accessible from the service menu as a read-only list (like the other services); adding and removing them may come later.

This looks to be pretty straightforward: favourites can be obtained using the listen_key on a per-service basis, in the form: http://{service_url}/{streampref}/favorites.pls?{listen_key} . This is easy enough to add to the library, but I'm not sure best to integrate it into the interface.

Thank you for this plugin. I would like to +1 this feature as well. Couldn't you just add it after the station is clicked? For example, when you load the channel it displays the stations:

After you click on the channel it then just displays "Favorites" and "List All".

It might be user to just ask for the username and password and pass it into the API instead of parsing the PLS file.

Frankly speaking, I've been really trying to avoid the issue of auth credentials - the listen_key is straightforward and has been good enough so far. Also, the JSON blob that gets returned when querying for favourites using the auth method isn't super useful out of the box, so it's not as quick a win as one would hope. In either case, I need to parse the playlist and then match up some element (either title or channel_id) with the batchinfo blob in order to build the Plex object.

So the decision is this: do I stick with the existing policy of using listen_key exclusively, and then write some (mildly janky) pattern matching code, or do I implement authentication credentials, and then write some (comparatively simple) key/value lookup code.

I'm undecided. I'll think on it this week-end. 😄
