NFC enabling issues

Hi, I tried to follow the instructions to enable NFC and was unable to complete this successfully.
I am also doing this for a child with diabetes.
I have done everything in step 4 (as my version was higher).
After doing last step of 4 (factory reset) the situation is as follows:

• build number is now LWX48P (not LCA43 as it should be)
• so I wanted to flash LCA43 from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch-3/orig-development/rom-sony-smartwatch-3-rom-t3367728 but I am no longer able to boot twrp. When I try to execute fastboot boot twrpnew.img or fastboot boot twrp.img the device restarts but then it goes through regular sony screen (not twrp) and then boot freezes.
• I also cannot execute adb reboot bootloader. It gives an error 'error: no devices/emulators found'

Do you have any ideas how can I proceed now? Any help would be really appreciated.

I think I will probably have this issue too. I followed the instructions up to step 4 and also ended up on LWX48P. I tried installing the updates through the about screen but this ended up updating me to an 'M' version. Did you ever manage to get onto LCA43?

Ugh I have the same issue, but I made a worse mistake. I then tried to install the NFC ROM at the wrong build number and might have bricked my watch. Did either of you get it?

The documentation at https://github.com/pimpimmi/LibreAlarm/wiki/How-to-install-NFC-on-Sony-Smartwatch-3 is referencing this article https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/smartwatch-3/tut-how-to-fix-swr50-fastboot-t3258918, but doesn't follow all the necessary steps.

When you follow it you will end up with LWX48P. You need to download and apply 3 patches in this order:

1. turn off watch
2. take out usb cable
3. hold button to get into boot menu
4. press button once to get to Recovery item
5. pres button twice to boot into Recovery mode (tap on android logo to see menu)
6. swipe down to apply update from ADB
7. swipe left to right
8. on PC adb sideload updatep-k.zip
9. wait on watch for reboot system now menu item to appear
10. swipe left to right
11. wait for the system to update
12. repeat from step 1.-11., but do adb sideload updatek-d.zip in step 8.
13. after this system update you are able to execute db reboot recovery
14. repeat from step 1.-11, but do adb sideload updated-lca.zip in step 8.
15. check About in watch menu, you should be on LCA43
16. continue with NFC kernel installation
