Hey there, why only sometimes I'm getting this error?

Same issue here.

@marysmech In my case it turned out that this was caused by the slow loading of the first image (specified with the src tag). My workaround was adding a callback for the image loading and doing a $.reel.scan(); afterwards the image got loaded. See:
