Closing app and services

Hello,
I set the app to work together with google maps and it works well but when i close google map it continues to run. So i kill the settings activity but a notification still says velociraptor app is running (maybe a service). So i go to settings, app, i select velociraptor and click force shut down. As side effect next time it will not run bye itself on maps startup. Is there a function that terminates this app as it should be done? Thank you

I've updated the whole app after seeing that the development here came to a stop.
