@chrisvvarren Reports an error when trying to add a new character group
an unexpected error message in trying to create a new character group from one view and then silent failure to create the group from another view.
the problem seemed to be with the particular string i was using to create the group, "William Rawlins," or at least that's what I surmise from success with a different string. I wonder if we 'd created that group before and there's some relic in the db or something.
Note: Look into if the UI prevents the addition of a character group with an identical string name. Unlikely this is a database limitation as the character group would received a new ID.
