I am currently working on a research project that aims to analyze Product Hunt’s database for academic purposes, focusing on technological positions and product innovation.
While exploring the Product Hunt API, I noticed that the current endpoints do not include the external website link associated with each product. This information would be essential for our analysis, as we intend to match Product Hunt’s product data with other company databases to better understand firm-level innovation dynamics.
I wanted to ask whether Product Hunt offers any form of academic or research access — for example, extended API access, bulk data export, or a data-sharing arrangement — that could include the website/external URL field (or the canonical product page URLs) or if there is a way to get the company url domain.
