win 4 7840u TDP won't set

Im running it on the win 4 7840u 64 gb version and the tdp wont set properly and profiles dont auto switch correctly either. The game profile will "apply" but the TDP slider remains at the lowest value. The start up default profile loads on start up but will not load when doing a restart.

I second this problem. GPDWinMax 2 7840U version. TDP wont survive reboots and like OP sais every time gets set at lowest TDP possible. Also profile switching moves TDP back to minimum value. Also disabeling splashscreen enables it instead of disabling it and then it keeps showing forever. Same with notifications.
Setting TDP is working confirmed, but any profile change and its back to minumum value...

Also last update 1 year ago. So I doubt it will ever get fixed. Still great it can set the TDP on my 7840u in windows 10, thanks!
