Prusa Control, Slic3r PE, and Pronterface all have issues with users

Prusa Control will not run, produces "Fatal Error! Failed to execute script main"

Slic3r PE fails to respond to double click on Icon.

Pronterface loads but then throws up an error with Slic3r.

Was working to 21:30 UK time Sunday 23rd Sept. Not working 14:00 Monday 24th Sept to time of writing. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no effect, downloaded Github and prusa website files, no effect.

This is on TWO systems, one Windows10 (auto updating) and the other on Windows7 with updating locked out to manual, and none recently done.

Revised file "materials_i3_mk3.json" has now enabled Prusacontrol to run and load files.

However, trying to run Slic3r PE from icon fails to have any effect, and on loading Pronterface, after it has loaded, when a file is loaded into it, the following error lists:

As it did right from the start of this issue.

Prusa control issue should be fixed. SlicerPE icon on desktop and prusa control have no relation at this point, so the isues are likely separate. I would suggest unnstalling whole prusa drivers package and reinstalling.

Thanks for reply, Yes, file issued yesterday has re-enabled PrusaControl.

However Slic3r and Pronterface still refuse to run. I have done a full uninstall (again), checked and cleared left behind directories (again), and run package installer, etc, yet issue remains.

If these faults have no relation its somewhat surprising considering the problem occurred at the same time, PrusaControl failed, so I tried Slic3r, that failed, so I tried Pronterface, and that failed as above, unable to find Slic3r. Newly generated Slic3r icon of third install now does not load the program, no errors, just does not load. From forum traffic I'm not alone here either, though not everyone has this issue.

EDIT: Slic3r and Pronterface still refuse to run on the Windows 10 laptop (They used to before the PrusaControl issue), they DO run on the windows 7 laptop though.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Win 10 computer again.............. no change.
