Mailnag status and maintenance?

It seems that Mailnag project has been inactive over three years. Master branch does not work well anymore, but there are some unmerged pull requests to fix things.

I have not seen any announcements that the project is abandoned. Is this project still maintained?
I don't know the answer.

I am currently running Mailnag from my own branch, and I am considering to fork the project. Maybe I can make a version with some fixes.
