DICOM Wizard not functioning as expected

Loading a DICOM folder for an exam that contains multiple series by dragging the folder onto the ITK-SNAP window used to result in a "wizard" that launches and shows all available series in the exam. Normally one would then pick from those series to load it into ITK-SNAP. This worked in version 3.8 (and earlier to my knowledge). However, in version 4.4 no "wizard" is launched, and instead the first available series is loaded, even when there are multiple series in the exam. Trying with version 4.2, the application actually crashed when trying to load a DICOM series.

I tested with three different DICOM exams (folders) that were different CT modalities and one that was an MR modality. Version 4.2 crashed every time. Version 4.4 behaved problematically as described above for the CT scans, but not the MR scan. I'm not sure if it's a modality difference or something else.

This was tested on my Mac M4 running Tahoe.
