Re-Add Device to Smartthings

Hello-

First thank you for the excellent work. Second, I apologize because I am sure this is answered elsewhere, but I have looked and I can't find it.

My device was accidentally deleted from Smartthings and I need to "re-add" it. It was working wonderfully before. How do I get the device into "pairing" mode?

I was able to figure this out from another site. (For those that might be looking, the device must turned on & off 5 times at the source - for me the circuit breaker.)

But device was discovered by Smartthings, I added it but none of the functions work now. (I did update my device handler to the most up-to-date code from the repo). If I try to use the app to control the device, I get an error that says the device is offline. The device works fine if I use the included remote. But I can't control the device at all through Smartthings. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I can't tell if the owner of this code is trolling the author of this ticket, or just didn't really read beyond the first sentence. I'm in the same boat with this simply no longer working. The devices are detected and appear, but attempting to do anything "spins" and then you get a "Network Error" message. This same issue appears to be the crux of #19 as well. I'm guessing this code is no longer supported.

Robross, I got mind working. My fan doesn't have a light. I deleted the "child" device to control the light and since then everything has worked perfectly. Not sure if that is your issue as well, but if you don't have a light on your fan give it a shot.

@PhillySports thank you for responding. I've removed my child devices, but the main device keeps re-adding the child light device automatically.

Did you edit the primary device's code to stop this, or simply remove the child device handler itself?

Sure, if it works. I've never been able to get thisv device to work at all with Smarthings.
