Nope. impossible. This is a limitation in Android. but, you can tell docker to use the host networking mode with this command:

# Configure Docker daemon
mkdir -p /etc/docker && \
echo '{"iptables": false, "ip6tables": false, "bridge": "none"}' > /etc/docker/daemon.json

Then, run every command with --network host :

docker run --network host ubuntu

That means,Host Networking in Droidspaces + Host Networking in Docker is possible.

NAT Networking in Droidspaces + NAT Networking in Docker is possible.

But, Host Networking in Droidspaces + NAT Networking in Docker is impossible on Android.

I mainly want to use Hermes to control an Android phone via ADB, but ADB is not supported under NAT networking. Host networking supports it, but Docker cannot be used with host networking.

This is how you connect to ADB in NAT mode:

From the Android side (run in Termux):

su
setprop service.adb.tcp.port 5555
stop adbd
start adbd

From the container side:

# Install ADB first
apt install android-sdk-platform-tools

# 172.28.0.1 is the Droidspaces NAT gateway IP.
# Use it as the device.
adb connect 172.28.0.1:5555

# Accept the pop-up (trust the PC)

# enter adb shell
adb shell
