Use Visual studio Code 2025 as an MCP client problem

Hello @rcontesti, it seems like in Visual studio code 2025, They separate the setting.json and mcp.json.

The health checks all passed on my machine now, but i have problem to let Visual studio code discover the MCP tools. Instead of acting like a chat MCP Client. github copilot just giving me code advice.

Do you mean the youtube video link, I followed that but the setting of VScode seems different, my version is shown as below

and the version for my github Copolit is as below

I asked Visual studio same question as you did in your video but it only give me coding advice.
