About luck adjusted rapm

Thanks for your work, I can try to calculate rapm, but I still don't understand how to calculate the lucky adjusted rapm, I understand the basic principle, but how to implement it in rapm, how to get the data?

The quick explanation is:

For luck adjusted you just build a location based shot chart for every player in the league for their entire career leading up to the season you are calculating for, then pad each location with league average 3pt% for that season to 750, then iterate over the pbp and replace points scored off 3s with the expected points for the shooter from the shot location. Do the same for fts and the player's career ft%.

If I get around to, i'll try to put something out when I get a chance, but I haven't had time to do much of anything for a while.

@rd11490 Thanks for the explanation, but it seems a little different from what I understand. In my opinion this method is to stabilize players who play less minutes. As far as I understand the luck adjusted should be to adjust the free throw percentage and 3-point percentage of my teammates during my on/off.(from the introduction of lebron)

The luck adjustment I am applying is to attempt to suppress outlier shooting performances when calculating RAPM style metrics (See Kawhi 16-17), minutes do not really come into the picture for the luck adjustment (beyond the padding of the career shot profile to 750 3s)
