How do we configure this to work? What needs to be set in the Zabbix agent config?

Open your zabbix web GUI

Configuration -> Templates -> Import -> Select file
upload .xml file, done :)

ofc if there are any scripts, you should upload them to your "externalscripts" dir.
f.e. in my case it's /usr/lib/zabbix/externalscripts/

Worth noting it should be installed on Zabbix Server then.
Or are those agent based and then should be located in, say, /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.d/userparameters_something?
