The SteamDeck (I assume bazzite-deck in general) has modes for its controller inputs in desktop mode, where it can rebind its own buttons to better suit desktop navigation. In the desktop navigation mode, the application's built-in controller support is active but does not know that the buttons have been rebound, and so the controller glyphs do not match what the buttons actually do.
